Eicher Motors gains as its motorcycle division resumes production at plants near Chennai

Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 16390.00, up by 162.25 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 16227.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16299.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16476.95 and Rs. 16159.10 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21618.30 on 21-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13725.00 on 17-Dec-2014.

Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division Royal Enfield has resumed production at its Thiruvottiyur and Oragadam plants which were closed due to heavy rains and floods in and around Chennai. The company has reported production loss of 11,200 units due to the rains. Of that number, 7,200 units’ production loss occurred between December 1 and 6, 2015.
