Physical Rubber prices display weakness on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Wednesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety dropped to Rs 100.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 101.00/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dipped to Rs 97.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 98.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery improved to Rs 101.24 compared to its previous closing of Rs 100.68, while February delivery closed at Rs 101.93 compared to its previous close of Rs 101.24 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
