Heritage Foods has received its board’s approval for setting up of a 2.1 megawatts wind power project in Andhra Pradesh for captive consumption. The board has appointed Suzlon Energy as a turnkey contractor for setting up the wind power plant.
Heritage Foods’ consolidated net profit rose 216.6% to Rs 15.29 crore on 14.3% rise in net sales to Rs 576.03 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
