Chennai floods are expected to have material impact on Hexaware Technologies’ revenue and a one-time cost in the quarter ending 31st December 2015. Chennai is the largest delivery center for the company and contributes 23.5% of the total global revenue. The company has 44% of the global strength operating out of Chennai.

In view of the extremely heavy & incessant rainfall and subsequent flooding, Chennai operations except mission critical activities had to be suspended for 3 days. While Chennai was open for normal business from 7th December, attendance was lower than normal for several days as employees were still recovering from the aftermath of the floods.
