JSW Steel reported a 9% increase in its crude steel production in January to 5.8 lakh tonnes from 5.33 lakh tonnes a year earlier. The flat rolled products’ output increased by 39% to 4.62 lakh tonne during the month from 3.34 lakh tonnes in the same month last year.
