JSW crude steel output up 8% in Feb

JSW Steel reported an 8% increase in crude steel production to 5.41 lakh tonne in February from 5.02 lakh tonne in the same month last year. The firm's flat rolled products' output went up by 48% to 4.42 lakh tonne during the month from three lakh tonne in the same month last year. However, long rolled products' production dipped to 0.75 lakh tonne from 0.96 lakh tonne in February 2010, recording a 22% decline.  In January this year, the company had recorded 9% rise in crude steel production to 5.8 lakh tonne from 5.33 lakh tonne a year ago.crackcrack
