Date: 28-12-2015Reliance Industries’ subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJIL) has launched 4G service for its employees under Jio brand name. The company will begin the commercial roll-out of the service from March-April.
The launch event was held at Reliance Corporate Park, while RIL other employees were virtually connected at around 1000 locations including Dallas in the US.
RJIL is the first telecom operator to hold pan India Unified License. This license authorises RJIL to provide all telecommunication services except Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite Service.
