SSWL bags order for Mahindra's puddling and vineyard tractor range

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged a prestigious order from Mahindra Tractors for its new project. It will be additional order for tractor wheels for domestic market. The total expected volume from this program over a period of 7 years is 366,000 tractor wheels.

The total order value of the program would be Rs 50 crore. Mass supplies are expected from Jan 2017. This order will further increase SSWL's market share in this segment. 

SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
