Infosys arm contributes Rs 4.5 crore for Somanatheswara Temple complex

Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of IT major Infosys, has contributed Rs 4.5 crore towards the archaeological restoration of the ancient Somanatheswara Temple complex, in the town of Lakshmeshwara, around 40 kms from Hubballi.

The contribution of Rs 4.5 crore is towards the architectural and cultural restoration of the temple, including repair of ancient structures as old as 1,400 years.
