Goa Carbon temporarily shuts operations at its Bilaspur Plant

Goa Carbon has temporarily shut down operations at its Bilaspur Plant, Sirgitti Industrial Area, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh from December 31, 2015 on account of the inventory of finished material. There would not be any financial impact due to the temporary shutdown of the company’s Bilaspur Unit.

Goa Carbon is into the business of manufacturing and marketing Calcined Petroleum Coke. Goa Carbon is firmly established as a leading Indian petcoke calciner. It is a regular supplier to aluminium smelters, graphite electrode and Titanium Dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the metallurgical and chemical industries.
