Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported a 41% jump in total sales in December 2015 at 40,453 units, as against 28634 units in the same month last year. During December 2015, the number of motorcycle units exported, decreased by 9% to 416 units from 455 units in December 2014.

The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 49% at 37475 units in December 2015 against 25092 units in the same period a year ago, while the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc decreased by 16% at 2978 units as against 3542 units in December last year.
