Steel Strips Wheels strengthens as sales turnover rises by 8% in December 2015

Steel Strips Wheels is currently trading at Rs. 435.00, up by 5.40 points or 1.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 429.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 431.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 439.00 and Rs. 429.00 respectively. So far 3639 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 458.00 on 28-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 254.50 on 27-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 458.00 and Rs. 421.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 655.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.38% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.66% and 40.96% respectively.

Steel Strips Wheels, a Chandigarh-based company has registered gross turnover at Rs 107.60 crore in December 2015 as compared to 99.80 crore in the same month in 2014, recording growth of 7.8%.

The company has achieved total wheel rim sales of Rs 10.42 lakh in December 2015 as compared to Rs 10.10 lakh in December 2014, representing a 3 per cent Y-o-Y growth. The truck wheel segment is continuously improving the company profitability. The company has registered highest truck wheel production and sales in December 2015.
