JSW Steel informs about company updates

JSW Steel has informed that as a certified copy of the order has since been received from the Honble High Court, the Company further inform that the Honble High Court of Karnataka has on December 3rd, 2015 delivered its Judgement in response to a petition filed by mine owners and the purchasers of iron ore including JSW Steel on the levy of Forest Development Tax (FDT) by the State of Karnataka, with a partial relief on the payment of FDT. The Parties are entitled to appeal to the Honble Supreme Court within the stipulated period of limitation of 90 days. The Company is closely monitoring the developments in this regard. The Company note to keep the exchange informed of any material developments affecting the Company.
