Just in: December WPI comes at -0.73% versus -1.99%

Easing the deflationary trend, India’s main inflation gauge, based on monthly wholesale price index (WPI), stood at -0.73 percent in December as against -1.99 percent last month. According to the street expectation WPI for the month was -1.07 percent.
