Bharti Airtel has made deployment of the largest 3G network in Odisha under ‘Project Leap’ -- the company’s recently launched network transformation program. The company has rolled out 1,800 3G sites in Odisha, covering 109 census towns in the region.
The company has also strengthened its existing network of more than 5,000 2G sites and 8,564 kms of high fiber optic cable with an additional 234 2G sites this year. The company has introduced 413 new 4G sites across 7 towns in Odisha -- such as Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Rourkela, Balasore, Sambalpur and Barhampur.
