AIA Engineering gains on starting commercial production at GIDC, Kerala in Gujarat

AIA Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 822.05, up by 5.45 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 816.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 814.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 824.00 and Rs. 801.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1361.15 on 20-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 771.00 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 828.00 and Rs. 771.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7,753.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.65% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.80% and 11.55% respectively.

AIA Engineering has started commercial production under First Phase at its Greenfield Project, situated at GIDC, Kerala in Gujarat. The installed capacity under the First Phase is 66,000 Mt per year. The company has also completed its Brownfield expansion of 14,000 Mt per year at its Trichy Plant. With this expansion, the total installed capacity of wear parts of the Group will be augmented from 260,000 Mt to 340,000 Mt per year.

AIA Engineering is engaged in business of designing, developing, manufacturing, installing and servicing of high chromium wear, corrosion and abrasion resistant parts. These products are mainly used by cement, mining and thermal power generation industries.
