Govt approves six-laning of NH-2 on Aurangabad-Jharkhand border

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved six-laning of the National Highway-2 on the Aurangabad-Jharkhand border. It will come under the National Highway Development project 5. ‘It will be developed on the Build-operate-transfer (BOT) mode at an estimated cost of Rs 4,9 18 crore,’ ‘This is an important step in improving and expediting infrastructure between Bihar and Jharkhand.
