Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2015.

The company has reported 31.26% rise in its net profit at Rs 1613.12 crore for the third quarter as compared to Rs 1228.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 22.71% to Rs 5504.83 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 4486.11 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
