JSW Steel Ltd.

JSW Steel has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2015. 

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 4142.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to net profit of Rs 414.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 36.48% to Rs 7364.82 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 11593.64 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.   

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss after taxes, minority interest and share of profit / (loss) of associates of Rs 923.34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to net profit Rs 328.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 34.11% at Rs 8720.88 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 13235.94 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.
