11.65 (2.62%) Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 52.86 million tonnes in January 2016, as against target of 56.18 million tonnes. The company’s total off-take for the month of January stood at 48.32 million tonnes as against a target of 50.85 million tonnes.
Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
