Colgate-Palmolive inaugurates its first toothbrush production unit of India in Sri City

Colgate-Palmolive (India) has inaugurated its first ever toothbrush production unit of India in Sri City in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The plant was set up with an initial capacity to produce 220 million pieces of tooth brushes a year, at an investment of Rs 450 crore.

The company’s Sri City unit was built in 25 acres of land and commissioned in a building of 16000 sq. m area in 19 months. The company proposes to expand the unit increasing the annual production capacity to 600 million.
