JSW Steel’s crude steel production in January 2016 declined by 17.23% at 9.27 lakh tonnes (LT) as compared to 11.20 lakh tonnes in January 2015. The production of rolled products (flat) during the month dropped to 7.47 lakh tonnes as compared to last year’s level of 9.07 lakh tonnes.

However, the production of rolled products (long) increased and stood at 2.51 lakh tonnes compared to 1.76 lakh tonnes in January last year.
