NMDC reports 59% fall in Q3 net profit

NMDC has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2015.  

The company has reported 58.88% fall in its net profit at Rs 655.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 1593.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 44.16% to Rs 1938.42 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 3471.19 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. 

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
