Tata Power's Haldia Power Plant organizes safety awareness programme

India’s largest integrated private power company, Tata Power’s Haldia power plant has organizes safety awareness programme. The company has celebrated a week long program on the eve of 41st National Safety Day from March 04-10, 2012. Myriad events were organized to spread awareness on safety among its workforce and to people at large.

The company had also organized a safety Awareness programme for the school students of St. Xavier’s School, Haldia with special focus on road and home safety. Around 60 students participated in the session which mainly comprised of a sensitization session on basic road and home safety measures, followed by a spot quiz to test the effectiveness of the session. The objective of this initiative was to sensitize as many students as possible about various safety related issues and protect valuable human life from any unwanted mishap.
