Titan to produce spectacle frames locally: Report

In order to make spectacle frames locally and reduce imports, Titan Eyeplus, the eyewear unit of Titan Company is reportedly planning to set up a new factory. The new unit would build nickel and lead free, lightweight titanium and aluminum frames that would have better precision and accuracy. The company has an existing lens making facility at Chikkaballapur, on Bengaluru outskirts.
