KEC International soars after Railway Minister Proposes to electrify 2000 km next year

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has proposed to electrify 2000 km next year, increased electrification budget by 50%.

KEC International is currently trading at Rs. 105.85, up by 2.75 points or 2.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 103.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 104.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 107.50 and Rs. 103.35 respectively. So far 45126 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 164.75 on 24-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.95 on 26-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 109.85 and Rs. 102.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2721.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.54% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.65% and 16.81% respectively.
