India’s Gems & jewellery exports declined by 20.6% to $2.2 billion in January as compared to $2.8 billion in the corresponding period of last year, according to the data compiled by the gems and jewellery export promotion council (GJEPC).
On the other hand, silver exports surged by 163.7% to $268 million during the month and the exports of gold jewellery increased by 12.6% and that of gold medallions and coins increased by 9.9%.
