FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per March 08 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equity and in debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.                     

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4242.96 crore against gross sell of 3360.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 882.00 crore in equities.                 

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 917.29 crore with gross sales of Rs 845.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 72.18 crore in debt.
