F&O total turnover stood at Rs 1,89,498.75 crore on March 15

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at 1,89,498.75 crore on March 15 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 35,57,538.                     

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,273.56 crore, Stock Futures Rs 20,615.94 crore and Index Options Rs 1,44,774.57 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 10,834.68 crore.        

For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.95 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.00 and that of Stock Options was 0.55.     

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Mcleod Russel India (4.40), Indian Overseas Bank (3.00), Cummins India (1.67), Divis Laboratories (1.65) and UCO Bank (1.50).  

Among most active underlying, Lupin witnessed an addition of 0.21 million of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing a contraction of 2.07 million of Open Interest in the March month contract; Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.14 million of Open Interest in the March month contract, Yes Bank witnessed an addition of 1.93 million of Open Interest in the March month contract and Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.19 million units of Open Interest in the March month's future contract.
