Fortis Healthcare rises as its arm hikes stake in LHPL to 79.43%

Fortis Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 181.80, up by 0.95 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 180.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 182.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 183.85 and Rs. 181.10 respectively. So far 32085 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 199.20 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 141.10 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 183.15 and Rs. 167.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8417.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.29% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.04% and 12.67% respectively.

Fortis Healthcare’s step down subsidiary company - Fortis Cancer Care (FCCL) has increased its shareholding in Lalitha Healthcare (LHPL) by acquiring 98,972 equity shares constituting 12.2% of total share capital of Rs 10 each. Post acquisition, the shareholding of FCCL in LHPL shall be 6,44,596 equity shares constituting 79.43% of Rs 10 each.
