ICRA reaffirms ratings of Bharat Electronics’ bank facilities

Credit rating agency ICRA has reaffirmed a long term rating of ‘AAA’ to the fund based bank limits worth Rs 200 crore of Bharat Electronics (BEL). The rating agency has also reaffirmed a short term rating of ‘A1+’ to the company’s non-fund based bank limits worth Rs 2700 crore and short-term debt programme worth Rs 5 crore.

The outlook on the long-term rating is ‘stable’. These ratings indicate the highest credit quality in the long- and short term. The instruments rated in these categories carry the lowest credit risk in the long- and short-term. These ratings are valid till February 28, 2017.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
