Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at 6,48,505.58 crore on March 31 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,18,37,779.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 33,754.90 crore, Stock Futures Rs 69,082.46 crore and Index Options Rs 5,23,700.90 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 21,967.32 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.92 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.94 and that of Stock Options was 0.51.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Indian Overseas Bank (25.00), CESC (3.86), United Breweries (2.27), Castrol India (1.92) and Oil India (1.67).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 12.11 million of Open Interest in the April month futures contract, followed by Tata Steel witnessing a contraction of 4.11 million of Open Interest in the April month contract; Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 2.38 million of Open Interest in the April month contract, Infosys witnessed a contraction of 1.17 million of Open Interest in the April month contract and Tata Motors witnessed a contraction of 4.39 million units of Open Interest in the April month's future contract.
