Physical Rubber prices witnessed mixed trend on Thursday

Physical rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Thursday. The overall volumes continued to remain dull while certain counters finished marginally higher on comparatively better demand and low supplies. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 115/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety firmed to Rs 113/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 112.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of April delivery improved to Rs 118.34 compared to its previous closing of Rs 118.08, while May delivery closed at Rs 119.86 compared to its previous close of Rs 119.17 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
