HDFC Bank opens 21 branches in Rajasthan

HDFC Bank, the country’s second largest private sector bank has opened 21 new branches in Rajasthan, of which eight are located in unbanked villages.  With these launches, the bank now has a network of 166 branches across Rajasthan, including 110 rural and semi-urban branches.

Out of total branches, the bank has opened eight branches in unbanked areas were the local populace had no access to formal banking services. The unbanked branches are located at Vijai Mukundpura and Mahlan in Jaipur district, Kanpur in Udaipur district, Uchiyarda in Jodhpur district, Tartarpur in Alwar district, Jalkhera in Kota district, Kherliganj in Baran district, Shiv Singh Pura in Sikar district of Rajasthan. Apart from these eight locations the bank has also launched 13 other branches across the state.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services to its 32 million customers across hundreds of Indian cities using multiple distribution channels including a pan-India network of branches, ATMs, phone banking, net banking and mobile banking. As of June 30, 2015, the bank had a distribution network with 4,101 branches and 11,962 ATMs.
