Kotak Bank gains as its arm buys 7.61% stake in Banswara Syntex

Kotak Mahindra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 676.25, up by 4.50 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 671.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 671.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 678.00 and Rs. 671.15 respectively. So far 16977 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 744.45 on 21-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 586.50 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 685.00 and Rs. 656.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 124234.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.73% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.13% and 27.14% respectively.

Kotak Mahindra Bank’s subsidiary - Kotak Mahindra (International) (KMIL), a Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) on its client account, has acquired 1,289,556 crore equity shares at Rs 92.69 each, aggregating to Rs 11.9 crore being 7.61% of the paid-up capital of Banswara Syntex.
