F&O total turnover stood at Rs 155278.60 crore on July 12

Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 155278.60 crore on July 12, and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 5530643.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 16691.42 crore, Stock Futures Rs 13845.75 crore, and Index Options Rs 118958.84 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 5782.59 crore.

For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 1.08 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.11 and that of Stock Options was 0.57.

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Sun Pharmaceuticals 4.50, Punjab National Bank 2.41%, Voltas 2.00, Jain Irrigation Systems 1.67 and Kotak Bank 1.38.

Among most active underlying, SBI witnessed an addition of 3.28% of Open Interest (OI) in the July month futures contract followed by DLF which too witnessed an addition of 14.38% of Open Interest (OI) in the near month contract.
