NHPC restores TLDP-III Power Station (4 X 33) MW in West Bengal

NHPC’s TLDP-III Power Station (4 X 33) MW in West Bengal which was under complete shutdown with effect from April 13, 2016 to April 14, 2016 for replacement work of ‘R’ phase circuit breaker of Unit 2 in GIS has started generation on April 14, 2016. Further, Unit 2 has also started generation on April 16, 2016, which was shutdown with effect from March 22, 2016.

NHPC is engaged in providing hydroelectric power generation. Its activities involve planning, development and implementation of hydroelectric projects in India. Its hydroelectric projects are located in the North and North East of India, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim and West Bengal.
