In bid to increase bed count to 9,000, Apollo Hospitals is planning to invest Rs 600 crore by the end of financial year 2017. The company has currently 8,400 beds. Besides, the hospital group is also planning to start an advanced cardiac care facility in Ahmedabad with an investment of around Rs 60 crore, and it intends to have 10 such centers across India.
