HDFC Bank has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank will be held on May 19, 2016, at which the Board shall fix the date of the ensuing annual general meeting of the shareholders and approve the notice of the ensuing annual general meeting. The Board of Directors has also accorded approval for seeking approval of the shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting for issue of perpetual debt instruments, tier II capital bonds, senior long term infrastructure bonds up-to total amount of Rs 50000 Crore in the period of next twelve months through private placement mode.
