Mahindra and Mahindra’s (M&M) South Korean subsidiary SsangYong Motor has sold a total of 13,462 units in April 2016 - 9,133 units in domestic sales and 4,329 in exports. Ssangyong posted best-ever 2016 monthly sales in both of domestic and overseas market, up 7.4% compared to the same month last year. It was attributed to Tivoli brand models -Tivoli and Tivoli Air (XLV)-which also recorded the highest-ever monthly sales to 7,788 units since their launches.

Thanks to the strong sales of Tivoli brand models globally which jumped 35% year-on-year, the company’s sales has been increasing for four consecutive months this year. In the domestic market, its sales surged 12.3% from a year earlier by exceeding 9,000 units for the second straight month helped by Tivoli Air which increased 62.8% from the previous month to 2,342 units.
