-2.75 (-0.17%) India’s largest pharmaceutical firm, Sun Pharmaceutical is reportedly scouting for a partner to market 14 brands it acquired from Novartis in Japan. In April, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, acquired 14 established prescription brands from Novartis AG and Novartis Pharma AG in Japan, for $293 million.
The acquired brands will be marketed by a local marketing partner under the Sun label. The local marketing partner will also be responsible for distribution of the brands.
