Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 9.22% rise in its production to 125,176 units in April 2016 as compared to 114,607 units in April 2015. Of total, the company manufactured 33,789 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, Wagon R) in April 2016, as against 42,203 units manufactured in corresponding month previous year. The company manufactured 51,678 vehicles under Compact segment; 10,461 vehicles under Super Compact and Midsize; 15,474 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 13,774 units under Vans category.

Maruti Suzuki India (formerly known as Maruti Udyog) is an automobile manufacturer in India. It provides passenger cars, utility vehicles and vans. The firm also offers pre-owned car sales, fleet management and car financing services.
