Equitas Holdings’ arm receives certificate to act as Corporate Agent for insurance business

Equitas Holdings’ subsidiary company - Equitas Finance (EFL) has obtained Certificate of Registration (CoR) to act as Corporate Agent (Composite) from Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA).

Besides, EFL has entered into corporate agency agreements with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Reliance Life Insurance Company and Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company for soliciting insurance business on behalf of insurers.

Equitas Holdings’ main business is microfinance. The company also offers other services such as housing finance, vehicle finance, loans against property and business loans to small and medium enterprises.
