NTPC and Coal India have signed an agreement to form a Joint Venture Company (JVC) to take up the revival of fertilizer plants of Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCIL) located at Sindri and Gorakhpur by setting up an ammonia urea plant at each location. Both the companies will hold an equal share in the proposed JVC.
