-7.85 (-0.63%) JSW Steel is reportedly in talks with Sandur Manganese for a long-term iron ore supply agreement. These discussions are part of the company’s efforts to ensure iron ore availability for its 18 million tonne (mt) steel capacity which is spread across three locations in India. JSW will also be bidding aggressively in an iron ore mine auction in July in the southern-western state of Karnataka.
JSW Steel is part of the JSW group which, in turn, is a part of the O P Jindal group. JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
