Idea Cellular loses 3.87 lakh new mobile subscribers in April

Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country, has lost 3.87 lakh new mobile subscribers in April, 2016. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 17.46 crore with a market share of 22.58%.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
