SBI strengthens as its arm launches payment gateway

SBI is currently trading at Rs. 173.70, up by 0.80 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 172.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 173.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 174.70 and Rs. 172.20 respectively. So far 773246 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 305.00 on 22-May-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 148.30 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 185.00 and Rs. 172.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 134451.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.18% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.41% and 10.07% respectively.

In order to facilitate online trade and non-trade transactions between Nepal and India, Nepal SBI Bank, one of the largest overseas subsidiaries of State Bank of India (SBI), has launched payment gateway. With the launch of this new service, the customer of Nepal SBI Bank can utilize various features of mobile banking and other value added services along with the platform of the payment gateway.
