HFCL emerges lowest bidder for supplying equipment worth Rs 4,224 crore to BSNL: Report

Himachal Futuristic Communications (HFCL) has reportedly emerged as the lowest (L1) bidders for supplying equipment to Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL). HFCL has put in price bids, aggregating Rs 4,224 crore for supplying optical transmission devices (Rs 1,448 crore) and geographical information-based network management systems (Rs 2,776 crore).

HFCL is engaged in the manufacturing of telecom equipments and provides turnkey services. The manufacturing facilities of the company are located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh (assembly line), and Salcete, Goa (optical fibre cables).
