Larsen & Toubro reports 23% rise in Q4 net profit

Larsen & Toubro has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 23.22% in its net profit at Rs 2539.14 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 2060.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 11.57% at Rs 21797.98 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 19538.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 5.05% in its net profit at Rs 5311.46 crore as compared to Rs 5056.18 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased by 4.86% at Rs 62185.58 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 59300.78 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
