Apollo Hospitals Enterprise gains despite reporting marginal fall in Q4 net profit

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is currently trading at Rs. 1352.00, up by 7.75 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 1344.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1340.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1356.60 and Rs. 1339.35 respectively. So far 2473 shares were traded on the counter.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 6.59% in its net profit at Rs 369.44 crore as compared to Rs 346.59 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 18.11% at Rs 5477.96 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4638.06 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 2.61% in its net profit at Rs 331.02 crore as compared to Rs 339.9 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company has increased by 17.20% at Rs 6112.28 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5215.2 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
